Pad Replacement... please help

I need to get a new set of pads for my MPC 1000. They are looseing sensitivity and are starting to stick. I was going to go thru mpcstuff.com and I was just wondering what I need to get to replace them. they have the "Akai MPC 1000 Pad Set - New Version Pad Fix Upgrade"for $180 or can I get away with just getting the "Akai MPC 1000 / MPK Pad Corx Sensitivity Upgrade Kit Corks" also do I need to get replacement pads aswell? here is the link to the web page:

Nah you need the pad replacement kit, the corx will not fix that problem. I guessing you have a red & blue 1000?
You can't even replace the pads that way, all red & blue 1000's have the pad problem. You can try Vst services, turntable lab, E-bay. Found this, if you are good at soldering, this is what you need..........
