Sound output very low

I am having trouble getting the MPC to playback at a higher volume. I have studio grade monitors (wharfedale Diamond 8.2 Pro-Active amp) I have the V% set at 100 and the main volume set at max and its not that loud at all. I set the sample sounds for each pad on level 100 and its ok but not what I would want to hear. Is it that the out put for the 1000 is just not that great?

Check your Master output level.

I found what the problem was. The samples on the MPC Hard drive are just low recorded samples. Once I started puting my own in the sound was level was great. Thanks for responding!!
