my mpc data wheel was too much wobbeling around.. so i decided to make it more stable,
to protect also the encoder inside from too much pressure, mpc falling, bottles (while live performing
) etc.
first i need the plastic part. i found this:

then after cutting it looks like this:

now i ve to fix it with hot glue on the data wheel.:

done.

i found out that to reduce friction i ve to sharpen the border of the new part.:

the data wheel needs to have some space about 1- to 2 mm before touching the mainboard.
the resuslt is smooth action and a protected encoder inside!:

in the future i am looking for a ball bearing to be fitted under the wheel....(less friction) to be continued...
