so its max 6 outs not 8

I read that this MPC could support 8 outs if used all
1234 plus stereo plus digital
but the digital acts as the same out as the stereo
so really there is only 6 outs

is this true?
or am I missing something?

and I think this MPC was made perfectly for the delta 66 audio card

Your missing something -

Perhaps your MPC didn't come with the panning feature

I'm kidding - your not missing anything - you actually have access to 16 outs if you pan your sounds to mono plus the digital outs but honestly I've only used the main outs but I'm way different than you so...

But yeah, if you pan your sounds respectively left and right you double your outputs - try it

No, he's right first time, it is six outs total (three stereo pairs). Headphones & Digital Out mirror the Main Outs.

yeah panning is how you get the 6 outs
or else its just 3 stereo outputs

I still don't see how its 8 outs

I'm totally standing corrected - my booboo - I just looked at a picture of the 1000 on www.akaipro.com and lo and behold 6 outs - the 8th is probably the digitals but what do I know, now...
