How to change the speed of a sample?

Hello everybody!

I have a short question:
How can I change the speed of a sample?
Let's say I record something (a noise, instrument, what ever) and wanna increase or decrease the speed of that file... so that it plays slower or faster... how can I do that?
I'm quite new to the MPC... I can't find that function...
I'm on a MPC 1000 with JJ OS 4.99

With my jj os1 it´s in the trim menu, press edit and then you can select the timestretching function...
though i don´t know if it´s the same in os 4.99

You can also just cursor over to the 'PGM:' field, hit window, and then adjust the 'Tune' from the 'Sample' tab. Of course this will also increase or decrease the pitch along with the speed... but if that's okay with you, then that's probably the simplest way to go.
