How to change "End of Sequence" time.

I've searched the forum under keywords. I've tried multiple ways of searching. Either way i'm at a stump.

I've read the manual. Possibly overlooked it but I doubt that.

I just bought my MPC maybe 3 days ago. I've already gotten the hang of recording a sequence. I downloaded the jj os 3.12 installed it and all.

My Question is this, How exactly do you change the timing on the "end of sequence".

I'll make a pattern that i want and i'll move the number of BARS closes as i can get it without leaving a gap after a pattern but it's never precise.

Is there anyway to change the "end of sequence" clock?

I appreciate all the help. All i ask is that someone NOT refer me back to the manual and just tell me how you do it.

Just to clairfy, I'm basically trying to loop the pattern i just made. I need to know how to change the END of the loop so it picks up right where it leaves off.

Are you trying to get a sample to loop?
If so Have you tried adjusting the TEMPO?

Or are you just trying to make a sequence out of individual hits etc?
If so, play the pads in time with the click/metronome while recording.

i appreciate the attempt at helping. I made a sequence of my own just hitting the pads, multiple pads actually. I like the tempo it's at, no reason for me to change that to get a better time result, that'll be taking away from the original product, get me?

My thing is. I made the sequence, I want it to loop on point. Right now it loops but there's like a 2 second gap in between until the loop comes back around. How do i get it to not have that 2 second gap and just loop right after the previous loop has finished?

Like I said before, Play in time with the click.
If you have the time sig set to 4/4 then there is 4 beats in each bar. Try counting it before you start tapping the pads so you get the feel of it and imagine your pattern fitting in with the click.

Otherwise, maybe what you are playing is in a different time sig than what you have the mpc set to.?

Question, how do you go about changing the bottom number on the TSIG Fraction?

actually i dont think thats possible, ill keep tinkering with it

Press the WINDOW button while on the TIME SIG field
Move the cursor down to the sig and turn the DATA wheel until the bottom half changes.
btw it will only show 4, 8, 16 or 32 on the bottom.

(I think the mpc1000 needs you to select a time sig for each bar in your sequence, AFAI remember)

Btw. I don't use jj os. I'm assuming it is similar to the Akai OS on this.
