Crossing Over to the Mpc 1000

Ayyy Im new to this forum and the Mpc world although I am not new to music.. I been rapping for a few years but I decided it wasn't really for me and then I thought since im peoples studios all the time and kinda get the gist of how things work why not try beat making?..
I been looking up information on different mpcs for a while and when it came down to it I would either be getting the mpc 1000 or the mpc 2000 xl.
Ive kinda made up my mind on getting the 1000 because with the JJ OS 1.22 it seems like the better choice (correct me if im wrong)..

but I realized it doesnt have the JJ OS upgrade I believe
Jus wanna know which one I should get or if I should keep looking, Ill be heading down to guitar center and some pawn shops later this week to see what I can find...
Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

you can always just buy the JJ os afterward you purchase the mpc, the main thing is to make sure it has the newer pads.

Word I feel you, that's the main thing with the 1000 is making sure It already has the new pads, do you think either one of the move in the links I posted are worth getting? And am I better off in the long run with the 1000 over the 2000xl even though I'm jus starting out
