I'm gonna start off this post by directing the following rant at myself:
"USE THE SEARCH FEATURE JACKASS... this topic has already been covered!!!!"
There, now that I've yelled at myself, nobody else will have to waste time doing it and we can get right down to business....
So I got myself into a bit of a financial jam and was forced to sell all of my favorite stuff a couple of weeks back... including my MPC 1k. Well, now that I've got a bit of cash in my pocket, I've gotta go get another MPC. It was the last item to go, and the first thing I want to re-acquire. I've had 3 MPCs to date, but have never owned anything but the 1k. I had a blue/red... then another blue/red... and then a black one for the last 4 years or so. I love the 1k... but I'm thinking maybe it's time to try something new. I found two pretty good deals locally...
1. MPC 5000 with CD Burner, maxed out memory, mint condition: $1100
2. MPC 1000 (latest generation, black back panel, has the "good" pads), maxed out memory, JJOS 2000XL, mint condition: $500
I can't decide... I know the differences between both machines and have used them both. I just want to know which deal would you take? No explanation necessary... My biggest flaw (of the day) is that I over-think everything way too much. If you start giving me your reasoning... then it'll just make me dwell on this even harder and I'll never make a decision. I'm gonna base my decision on your answers.
A) MPC 1000 at $500
or
B) MPC 5000 at $1100
