Program converter for MPC1000

Hello,

I have tried to do a serach but no help so far: ((

So, can anyone recommend a software program to convert other sample formats( Kurzweil, akai formats, Roland, Emu ) to MPC1000 format?

Have a lot of programs that I would like to be able to use on my MPC1000.

I don't beleive there is one. I use CDXtract to pull samples out of Akai, Roland and Gigasampler programs and then I use the MPC1000 program creator to create them for the MPC1000.

I don't want to sound insecure or anything but actually I answered his question. From his question, he is looking for a converter that will convert to the MPC1000 program. There are none. I only mentioned CDXtract because it is what I use for it's ability to convert to NN-XT. I just don't want anyone to get confused. You can use any of the software programs mentioned to get to the wav format but you will still need to build the MPC1000 program yourself.

You probably right but I suspect that all it's going to do when you load the program to the MPC1000 is have the sounds assigned to the pads with none of the other settings. So you would have to manually go through and make settings anyway. I guess I should try it and see what happens. Sorry about being insecure but I cut my medication down to every other day and I don't think it is working anymore. Peace.
