I just got an MPC about two months ago. I'm lovin it -- makin' some dope beats. sampling certain songs and themes. I'm curious with a vinyl sounding sample and how much easier/harder it is? AND exactly what kind of turntable do i need to complete this handshake.

Any of 'em will do. Just make sure it's got a MIDI headphone jack for optimal sound quality.

Either you have really thin sounding samples OR your turntable have a build in preamp (RIAA EQ with line level output) Or your MPC is the MPC5000 or MPC4000 (have a build in phono preamp)
