i think this has something to do with overlapping samples. if i lay a sample say at the begining of bar 1 and make it last until the end of the bar and repeat the same sample on the begining of bar to, if the duration time of the first goes into the starting time of the 2nd, i get no playback sounds.
---or---
say i want a sample to run for a whole bar, i gotta make its duration end at say 384 =((24x4) x 4)) Then i realised for some reason the 1000 if you overlap samples it doesn't play the 2nd one that comes in (why is this) to fix this, i had to reduce its duration to fit the end of the time signature.
i just got my mpc and im having the problem frequently.
i just got my MPC this week and ive had the problem constatly over the past few days.
i am going to try reassiging the sample to another pad then sequence it that way so they CAN over lap. but regardless this is a mere quick fix and not a solution. there is no problem over lapping different sounds/pads.
does anyone have any info on this problem?
there is no problem over lapping different sounds.
