just found something out for those of us who spend 90% of our time in step edit...
to highlight events with the data wheel instead of cursor keys:
Shift+Down Cursor and highlight the first couple events. Then let off the all buttons and simply begin scrolling the data wheel and it should highlight as you scroll... highlighting hundred of events with the cursor keys was becoming tedious. Hope this helps.
