Has anyone bought one of these and can confirm if they are legit or not?

the EXM 128 is the only ram that will work in a 1k, so yes that would work as long as they actually send you the EXM

Not true. The MPC 1000 takes a 256MB PC133 RAM chip. Detailed specs in the sticky thread at the top of this board.

PhatLaced, you can get RAM for about half that price if you shop around. I paid something like $16 for mine, including shipping.

bought mine yesterday the seller is testing every ram.

hope it will work otherwise i will take a kingston 256mb cl3 ...heard Pny was not working...some ram works other dont...i would be glad not to pay 120 $ for 128 meg...1 mega for one dollar...fuugin crazy....
