Hi all,
I am seriously thinking about buying an MPC 1000 but before I do I need to be sure it can do what I need it to in a live situation.
Live, I want to store samples on the 1000 and be able to trigger them as you normally would with the pads. In addition to this I want to be able to:
1. plug in a drum pad midi controller so that our drummer can also control the MPC
2. plug in a foot controller for myself so that I can control the MPC whilst playing guitar
I realise that the 1000 has 2 Midi In's so in theory I can't see a problem with this set up but as I haven't had the chance to try it out I thought I would ask you all for your advice. Is this likely to work? Has anyone ever done similar things and found they ran in to problems?
