ok first thing first is the equip that i have:
MPC 1000
Triton Studio 61
M-Audio Oxygen 49
M-Audio Fast track pro
FL studio 9.0 XXL
M-audio Uno
Beringer four channel mixer
What i am trying to do is run everything together. I can make beats on my mpc by itself the triton by itself and fl studio. but i want to be able to maximize the use out of everything i have. i can get my MPC to control sounds from my trito but i cant press record on the MPC and play keys off the triton into the MPC. fl studio will record the midi data but will only read from the mpc. this is my midi set up. what am i doing wrong. am i missing something any help is greatly appreciated.
Fast Track Midi out----MPC midi in 1
fast track midi in------MPC midi out A
MPC midi out B--------Triton midi in
MPC midi in 2----------Triton Midi out
I usually just use everything seperately but i saw zaytovens set up and he never touched the computer just his MPC and the motif but pro tools picked up everything he was doing. thats what made me wanna setup like this not to mention the ability to use all my equiptment gives me a hard on. I know i dont have a bad set up but all this segragation is killing me and its time consuming to sample shit from something a foot away when it could just as easily be played out without stopping. thanks in advance
