Hey everyone, I'm new up inhere...
Last days I've been kinda excited because I've bought an Akai MPC 1000v2 (Black) EXM-128MB + 128MB Memory Card.
This is my 1st serious music production device, cuz I've been makin music on software since 2002.
I have a few questions about the 1000v2 model concerning the difference between a standard MPC 1000.
Does an MPC 1000v2 differ from a 1000 in something more than a color? I've heard some rumours about the improved pads and some other operating system but noone have said anything more about that meaning what exactly is the whole difference about...
A second thing is - I never saw a "v2" sign on the MPC 1000v2 pictures, why does that sign not appear? Is there such sign on a box or wherever, so I could be completely sure that I'm having a v2? I know that v2 is black, but whassup with the lack of precise model data? Can anyone explain that? Is it written somewhere like on the model tag?
Ight.. I hope I'll be able to learn how to operate this precious machine so I could make so expanded projects on it as I do using the software.
I invite y'all to the discussion!
PS> sorry about ma English - dat iz nat ma native... haha
peace!
