Anyone to welcome me? It's been more than 15 years....back in the mid 90's that machine was the center of my wildest dream...
I finally decide to buy one recently...a music store gave me a good deal on a Bstock...600 euros without the CF card...
The funniest thing is that i still dont use it...I'm working on an MV since 2007.
JJos and 128 megs will make me go on it i think.
My first impression...ok as soon as i'll get all the automatism of how to use it..of course it's gonna be fun...
But lets face the facts....The MV 8800 delivers such a workflow...that its hard for me to naturally go on the MPC.
The logical of this machine comes from the early 90's....and i have that feeling of complication everytime i use it...
The good point...ok thats somthing you can hear in the very first minutes of use...the MPC has really a big dynamic...while on this side the MV tends to drown your kicks and snare a bit.
I'm a music lover and hardware machines lover...i will surely use the MPC...regardless of her workflow...
Peace
