Save Fail

So this may be on one of the 600 sum pages of topics but i really dont have that much time to dig.. I'm having a problem saving. When I go to create a new folder on my hard drive, it freezes when i go to create the folder name.. Any quick fix for this or am I going to have to update/reset/get a new hard drive?

update your os.
i remember that bug. it sucks. nothing makes you more mad than working, working, working....and then going to save and watch all your work get crushed.
the alternative is to create a new folder when you turn on your MPC, NOT after you've worked on a project.

ahh i figured so much. good looks. it seems i have 2.11 (at least thats what it says when i press MODE OTHER). should i just get the 2.13 off akaipro.com or should i go with the jjos? how diff are the two? appreciate the help fam

For sure get the free jjos or better if you can.

How difficult will it be for me to adjust to jjos?
