1k+Reason5+Pro Tools 7

So I have it all midi chained to where I can control sounds from reason and they record into the 1k. When I press play everything plays. On my fast track pro I have to mess with the mix dial because the mpc comes throught the "in" side of the dial, and the reason sounds come through the "PB." This isn't such a problem except when I go to pro tools and rewire it to reason, then record what I have only the sounds from the mpc and not the reason sounds are being recorded.... Can anyone help me please?!?! I've read a ton of threads and watched damn near ever video I can find... HELP!

Sounds to me like you have not set up your gear properly to do what you want.

So it's not clear whether you are sampling the reason sounds or rewiring them in Pro Tools.

A) I will not go through how to set up and MPC with Reason, its already been covered 1000 times.

B) I will not go through how to use REWIRE with Pro Tools, its already been covered many times.

But if you do A properly, followed by B carried out properly, there will be no problem.

Pay attention to your AUDIO ROUTING, that is the key here.
