mLAN and the MPC1000....

Will the MPC work in an mLAN environment? I just recently upgraded my Motif 6 classic to a Motif ES6 with the mLAN expansion board. I also got a Yamaha 01X mixing board. I want to know if anyone else has a set up like me and if it works for them?

Well......hmmm.....depends on how you're planning on hooking it up. You could use either the analog or digital inputs (if the mixer supports it....can't remember if it came with digital in/out), but you can't directly connect the MPC to an mLAN network since mLAN is just a firewire connection, and the MPC uses USB (and ONLY for transferring files, like as a really expensive CF reader).
