recording samples from a bass amp

i have an mpc 1000, and when i try to record with my bass guitar i get this really loud buzz that in the recording and playback. i just bought the amp and the line out chord, im not sure if its the guitar chord or the bass cus i dont have problems with any other amps, can anyone help?

How does it sound when you play the bass through the amp is there a buzz?If not (and these are very easy things troubleshoot)it is the line out from the amplifier including checking chord.Peace TYPO

well thanks man but yaa it was the chord, i had an unbalanced line out and i went and got a balanced chord and it sounds great, but i got another noob question haha how do i make the samples i record mono into the mpc to simulate in stereo?

Record all bass mono and keep it in the center of the mix.Left mono or Right mono.Peace TYPO
