Almost a follow-up for another thread...
I picked up my MPC-1000 last week. I'm more into electro and first of all I was planning to use the MPC as a sequencer. I had an ASQ-10 before, but I really wanted to get away from floppies.
Anyway, I'm planning on filling my 1 GB CF card with the type of sounds I will use, and that includes synth sounds. I have a bunch of analogue synths in my studio so I'm thinking of sampling some cool stuff from them, and if someone else is interested so why not. You can play around with them as well.
I'm still experimenting to find the best program configuration and the fastest way to work. I sampled a synth bass sound from my System 100m earlier today. You can download it from http://mpc1000.mine.nu/samples/100mbass1.zip. It's multisampled all the way, 4 octaves and 1 oct/pad bank. All comments are welcome.
