time to get a keyboard

but which one, I have an mpc 1000
should I get the korg triton or the korg karma for making my rap beats.

Check out the korg triton.....I have seen it in a lot of home studios of people who make rap and r&b music...

Yeah, it's a personal thing, you'll get a lotta opinions here but no "true answer". I have a Kawai K5000S, but if I was buying now I would prob. look at a Motif first.

Can't go wrong with a Nord Mod!!! And the Micros are way cheap for what they can do (keeps your rig portable with the MPC as well)

The MPC1K has enough sequencing in it to work miracles. All you need is a keyboard controller. The Oxygen-8 is the most inexpensive one for the buck.. Don't get to over crowded on your budget. Be Faithful over the little things and God will give you increase. My opinion is that the MPC is all you need. You can sample other ppls sounds from thier keyboard and load it into the MPC. I have a Korg Karma, I really don't think I like it.

I really wish I had got a Triton or better yet some synth instead. I hate the fact that the Karma can only use pre-set sounds (yes I know you can get a MOSS board but that = $$$)
