I am prety new to the MPC 1000 but i get the general idea...my problem is that when i purchase drum kits etc. i cannot get the loops to play...i have tried numerous companies (Prime Loops, Loopkings, P5 Audio, Platunumaudiolab) and it always ends up the same...my drums, sound efx, bass everything works except for the loops...i save the files to my computer and they play fine, i find them on my mpc and cant listen to them and when i attempt to load them the screen states "Wrong File!!!" any help is appreciated...

They are probably 24bit wav samples. The MPC 1000 will only play 16bit samples. Try finding a sample online thats 16bit and see if that works.

I would agree with this,

another way around this paticular problem, so you can still use the loops you bought, it requires you having a DAW, Eg cubase, logic, cool edit etc, just load your loop into the arrange, and mix down as 16bit via the mixdown options, do this with all the loops that you cant play, and stick them into your mpc replacing the existing files,

Let us know how You get on
