Hello all!
I just bought a MPC1000, and i'm really happy about it. I do have a problem, though.
I know this has been asked several times, but i couldn't find a thread which exactly answered the problem i have.
I have sampled some solo piano and chopped it (assigned it to PAD1-PAD12) - rest of the pads (PAD13-16) are drumsounds. I wanna record the sampled piano using the MONO Play Mode, so the piano parts wont overdub eachother - and that works fine. But when it comes to recording the drumsounds in MONO Play Mode, the Pads (PAD13-16) mute eachother while recording.
I can get the drums to work fine in POLY Play mode, but then the pianosamples starts overdubbing themselves. I can get the piano samples to work like i want in MONO Play mode, but then the drumsounds mute each other. I have tried to assign PAD13-16 to POLY Voice Overlap, but that does not work.
So, if you guys understand this question .. What do i do? Is there anyway i can make it work?
Best,
Lasse..
