So I got my new mpc yesterday, and I was feeling real eager to put in the ram upgrade. I take out the two screws. I put in the bottom end of the ram in then stupidly think that i have to bend out the plastic ends on the slot, they both snapped and now the ram wont stay in place. So I went over to mpcstuff and ordered a replacement part for 11 dollars, but this is where I need some help, because I know next to nothing about the way electronics work on the inside. Can somebody help me out with a step by step guide on how to replace this?

wait till it arrives and then see what you can do... it might be a matter of popping the new piece in... otherwise electrical tape might be your only option... take pics of what is broken... and the new part etc... those might help us see exactly what is wrong.

well this is what it looks like, the plastic that holds down the ram stick is broken off on each side you can see there is metal hook like piece where the plastic should be

and I think the replacement is the entire piece, it looks like theres a bit more to it then just popping it in..

this is the stock photo of the replacement part from mpcstuff, looks like what i got in my picture but flipped upside down
