I can't seem to move files onto my flash card

Has anyone else had this problem?
I've tried both Mac and PC and have it connected it using a memory card reader and a usb cord directly from the mpc1000 itself. I can put files onto my computer but can't move them onto the card.

did you format first?

Same problem, I'm connecting my CF Card to my mac via a CF port on my printer. I can't write or delete any files. I called Sandisk about it and they thought I was crazy for connecting my CF card through a printer. But yeah if anyone has advice as far as formatting on a Mac, let me know.Thanks

Try formatting it on the MPC1000 first. That way it'll name the card MPC1000Disk. Then try connecting through the printer, or whatever else you usin..
