how to take apart an mpc 1000 ?

am going to custom paint my 1000 but im one of those people that is much to scared to take apart electronic equipment in fear of wrecking it is there step by step info anywhere on how to take this beast apart ??

Its very easy, mpcstuff has videos on youtube for removing the faceplate of 1k

thanks for the info man il go have a hunt now my main concern was the elcetronic parts etc i dont want to remove something then not know how to put it back together haha could be as confusing as trying to use the mv 8000 i got on my desk gathering dust.

There is nothing electrical that needs to be removed on the 1k to take off the faceplate
