MPC1000 & AUDIO INTERFACE

Whuts good, I just have a simple question and I would like to hear your opinions..

I´m looking for a good audio interface for tracking out my beats, I want an interface that will ensure me to get the full audio quality from my MPC to my DAW.

I´ve been searching and I came up with this option, the Lexicon I-O22 http://www.lexiconpro.com/product.php?id=171#overview , what do you think?

I´m on a budget of $200 - $300, what do you guys recommend and use for tracking out beats to your DAW?

I really need to preserve the sound quality from the MPC...

the higher the bit and kHz, i suppose the better....though most people say the average listener will not notice at all, but to each his own

usb is fine for tracking out i suppose. but i've always recommended firewire because the zero latency.

if you have firewire, i would recommend the Alesis iO14, if your just tracking out. its 24Bit/192kHz multiple input/output along with midi in/out. i've used this and its really good

also pretty cheap if you can find one on craiglist or ebay somewhere, prolly less than $100.

but the one you have is also good..
