Anyone tried a 64Gb SDHC card to a CF adaptor to a CF to IDE

I want to put a compact flash drive into the HDM10 instead of a laptop hard drive. I have the CF to IDE adaptor and am ready to go.
Thing is, a 64GB SDHC card is half the price of a straight 64Gb CF card so I was wondering if anyone has tried using an SDHC to CF adaptor and putting the SDHC card into that, that into the CF to IDE adaptor and that into the HDM10?
I'm pretty sure it would work but I'd like to know if anyone else has done it before I buy the SDHC card. Anyone?

Didn't work when I tried it. That was with a 32gb SD (non HC)
