Help a noob really quick question!

Hey guys,

first sorry if this is the wrong thread. I just really need a quick question answered, before I buy something. I have an MPC 1000, and a tascam usb interface. I am just wondering if this is the cable I have to buy to transmit the audio from the mpc to interface to my macbook so I can record the incoming WAV sounds on my computer.

also do I need 2 of them?, one for digital in and one for digital out? or just one cable, really confused please help.

I don't recommend you get those cable. I mean it will work but RCA's tend to pick up radio frequencies rather easily. Get some TRS cables!

You will need to buy two, but these are already the exact measurements for the
MPC and your interface. If you buy the RCA you will also need to be a 1/4 adapter and thats just more money to spend.

Ah, thanks a lot man you really saved me some hassle. So using those cables you suggested makes it not digital anymore correct?, but this is a better way to go anyways.

Just trying to get some clarification before I buy two of them.

I have this Tascam interface US-122MKII.

the only line out I have is the RCA like plugs.

It would go in the Line in "L" and Line in "R"

Those are 1/4 inch inputs right? It shard to tell from the angle.
If they aren't then the RCA's will do but in order to connect the RCA's
to the MPC your going to need a 1/4 inch adapter.
