Memory card/ usb problem

I havent had a problem with my memory card or transfering my samplings via usb until recently. now, for some odd reason whenever i try to connect my mpc1000 to my macbook, i get an error that says disk not readable, and all the stuff on the mem card before got erased. anyone have any knowledge in this field? anything would be a blessing

I hope you didnt loose to much work. Always back up your work. Of course you cant at the moment it seems if the CF card does not mount. I suggest you re-format the CF card with the MPC1000 and then remount it to the mac after it is reformatted. It then should mount and then you can transfer files. Do not format with mac
