been usin a san disk four gb but now sometimes when i switch to my 128 mb akai it will freeze. dont know if this has anything to do with it but i ne\/er had to format my four gb. it just worked fine out the pakage.

Aww man, you gave in, I was hoping you'd hold out longer, lol.
Anyway man, when you get a card, the FIRST thing you should do is format it in the machine you're going to use it in, no matter if it works right out the box or not.
My advice is to save the contents of both cards on your desktop, FORMAT both cards and afterwards copy your contents back to their respective card and keep on rolling like you've been doing. Hopefully everything will work out from there.
Stop getting automatically offended when you see gold letters!
