mpc 1000 unbalanced, mixer is balanced...

correct me if I am wrong, but isnt the MPC 1000's L/R Outputs balanced and then the 4 assignable outs are all UNbalanced?

because im trying to hook my 4 extra outs up to my mixer, which has all balanced inputs, so...

1) to connect my mpc 1000's 4 extra outs into my balanced mixer inputs, do i use TS or TRS snake cable?

2) if i want to split my mpc 1000's L/R out into 2 seperate channels, do i still connect a Dual 1/4 cable or do I use 2 TRS cables to run the L and R outs into seperate channels?

wow, completely overlooked that itm....

but still if the outs are unbalanced coming from my mpc 1000 to my mixers balanced, does this mean i use TR or TRS?

what about splitting the stereo outs of the 1000....TR or TRS?

you are not going to break anything, so try it out.

if you want balanced, both in and out have to be balanced and you have to use a trs.

if any device is unbalanced, then it doesn't matter what you use, you're just gonna have unbalanced.

1 more thing, with the mpc 1000 stereo outs, if i wanted to split into 2 mono when in the mixer screen and/or playing live....would it matter if i have 2 cables running from L and R output separately into 2 seperate channels on my mixer, or just have a regular dual 1/4 to dual 1/4 cable?

Sure. Just use the PAN control in the mpc internal mixer to send your signals to either left or right outputs.
