Hi everyone. I'm new here! Just got myself an MPC 1000 finally : ) But I'm still very new with it so I'm at the stage of learning how to use it.
I was wondering what is the difference between the Ram and Harddrive in the MPC? Like what are they used for specifically? Sample storage or? ..
I actually was thinking of using it to perform live with a band and I learned how to load samples into it by watching tutorials online. I was wondering if lets say I have different samples for different songs should be I be setting different programs for each songs?
Like if I had 4 songs to perform I would have 4 different programs with their own sets of samples?
