ok. few questions mang

You have CF cards your saving beats to?

You should create a new folder for each beat. then save "entire memory" into that folder. name folders like "beat 134 86" ie beat number and tempo, or whatever.

Create a new file before saving new ish.

So say you made a beat (beat 1) save entire memeory to CF card in folder called beat 1/

Turn off, turn on, make new beat - save it in folder called beat 2.

This way you dont have to rename each program / project / sample, unless your loading sound programs, then you should be naming them proper (having 100 bass samples all called sample 1 will **** ish up)

Hello, i have been having the same problems.

I made a project called 'Set 1' using all 4 Pad banks. I went to SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY and began making another project which i named 'Set 2'. Again I went and 'SAVED ENTIRE MEMORY' (to my 2GB Memory card) which then seemed to wipe my 'Set 1' project.

When i load 'Set 1' the MPC loads all of the samples i used in that project but nothing is assigned to the pads.

This is causing me real problems, is this normal?

After reading the suggestions in this post I input all samples in to another project, went to SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY to: (and created a new folder). But it won't give me an option to save it to a folder.

Any ideas?
