Help me choose!!!

yamaha motif es-6, korg triton LE 61, or roland fantom x-6 for producing hip-hop, r'n'b tracks?
I don't know what to get?
I have an mpc 1000 already,
I would appreciate it if only people who really know what they're talking about respond. thanx

have an idea on what type of sounds you need. They all have their strong points. So go play with them and see for yourself. If you only need the sounds, you might want to look into just getting a module and a midi keyboard. That will save you a lot of money. I would suggest a 61 key midi controler and a JV-1080. You can get that for like 450 bucks if you look around.

Yeah it basically depends on what sound you are going for...and what type of hip-hop you make...I hear the MOTIF has very realistic sounds...I myself own a KORG Triton LE 61 key...and its a dope machine too. It basically a matter of taste. If you like the more "pop" hip-hop style like lil John, Neptunes, ja rule, jay-z...etc i would cop tha Triton. But if you want real sounding instruments get the MOTIF...
