months ago i bought an older mpc1000 with a faulty data wheel. it was annoying but i was still able to work on the machine. like many stated on the forums it would skip 2 or 3 intervals, making it hard to trim, change names, save, etc, but i could still make beats. however, the DW finally bit the dust. i rotate the wheel to the right four complete rounds and maybe it will scroll once on screen.
i have already gone into mode>other >global and switched the data wheel type to 2, which didnt help. im pretty sure the encoder is busted... i found some sites on the forums and just wanted to know if these are the right encoders to purchase. im pretty sure i dont need a the plastic data wheel.
mpcstuff.com is out of stock.
should i get this?

or this?
http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/700701/
any help greatly appreciated
