loading sounds questions?

hello i just purchased this mpc a few days ago without an instruction manual..when i try to assign a sound to one pad it automatically assigns it to all the pads...can someone tell me how to come out of that mode?

i honestly dont see anywhere in that manual that talks about the trouble im having..can anyone just tell me how to resolve that problem?

you're doing it wrong. the right way to do it is in the manual.

just because all the pads trigger the sound while you're in trim mode or whatever other screen you're in that isn't the program screen, doesn't mean the sample is actually assigned too all pads.

just read the manual... all of it.

im not in the trim mode..im in the actual loading screen as the guy name doc shows on youtube...

Don't try and learn the machine from youtube videos. Everything you need is in the manual.

that version is just fine.. get to know it and the machine properly and then you can check out the other JJOS versions. Also "beat making on mpc"-books are the best. All your questions (even those you don't know to ask yet) are covered!
