Expecting my MPC1K in a few days now, orded the i stick 256 memory from kinston type KVR133X64SC3/256 double sided leptop memory. Praying it al wil work.
Im using cubase for around a decade now, but i feel thats its time for a more hands on approach to sequencing. Maybe my knowledge of midi i obtained via using cubasewil help me understand the mpc better.
I was wondering if anyone using cubase with the MPC1k and a steinberg Midex 8 with a bunch of soundmodules Korg EM-1 . Roland MC-303 and TR-505, Alesis SR-16 en 2 computers 1 with soundgenarator Yamaha SW1000 and the other pc i use for recording it has a yamaha DSP-Factory with adat in and 8 analog in spdif i/o.
I was wondering if some has a simmilar setup and how you hook thinks up? A also think i need a bigger compact flash card i think, on my computer sample library is about 10 gb. Any one know if a microdrive is faster than a standard compactflas, does the mpc read/and write faster if you use a Ultra 2 CF card instead of a standard CF.
Pfew that was all i had on my l mind for now, hope someone kan help.
