1000 and Pro-Tools

Is anyone using Pro-Tools with their 1000? If so how do you have the set up connected? I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about it, midi or some other method.

Which pro tools system do you use. I use my 1000 with the Digi 001 system and it rocks.

I'm thinking about getting LE

The way I do it is to go out the stereo outs of the 1k into 2 Neve preamps. My Neves go into an Apogee Rosetta A/D converter, then lightpipe from there to the PCI card on my Mac. I've got a Digi 001, OS9. 5.2.1

Midi beat clock out of ProTools into the 1000

write drum loops and breaks on the 1000 so when you hit record in PT the MPC fires up and records into PT - easy right?
