it seems im always getting "directory error" when i try and save something after working on it, and it frustrates me so much. i have to scramble to find a different disk that has space on it so i can hopefully save my work. anyone having these same troubles? did anything work to eliminate them? also, i tried opening this program the other day and it said "wrong file", wtf does that supposed to mean. im thinking about selling my 1000 and getting a new one, hopefully directory error and wrong file free. get back at me please people.

that happens to me all the time...
I have a disk with a lot of space left on it, but it seems that when it gets a certain amount of sequesnces, samples, or programs on it, it fills up (even though it sayd there is much more free space on the disk). I usually just dump a lot of programs and sequences i'm not using anymore onto the computer, and erase them off the flash card. It's a pain, but it works.

All you need to do is create a new folder, and you'll be straight. I had that problem before. I made a new folder on the mpc, and save on there.
