Cannot find a precise answer to this question...

I'm a new MPC owner, coming from Maschine and software. I am catching on quickly, but there is something I can't quite figure out. I know how to use the internal recording function, but I can't figure out how to record multiple sequences in a row(song mode). I can record live, one sequence at a time, or simply a single pad. I'm sure you can see that my goal is to be able to track out an entire song in .wav format. If you could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!

you are not very clear!! you want to track out individual tracks from a song ? Or do you mean you want to just have a song converted to a .wav?
Normally people just record through multiple outs so this way you can track out just one sound per track, say stereo mix and 4 mono at once on MPC1000 say. This is in song or sequence mode, it does not matter. The Akai OS is not going to automatically make you a wav of your song. JJOSXL has that function, though I do not use it, as I prefer to mix down live to multitrack.
You can resample though. Do you know how to resample? that will work to. Just go into song mode, and convert to sequence. This will make your song that is lots of sequences become one sequence, that then can be sampled in the record screen with Input:MAIN OUT. This will create a .wav of your song. easy. But of course this depends on RAM. If you have lots of samples loaded, there will be not enough memory to actually record your whole song. Hope that helps, and I hope I understood you
