Resample through daw

Hi. i'm new to the mpc.

I want to leave monitor output from my mpc(headphones to be specific) and apply an effect through my daw.

my setup is like this - the output goes from 1 and 2, goes in through the daw and comes out spdif.

the problem is that with the monitor on it creates a feedback loop that destroys my ears and equipment. I suppose i can listen to the applied effect through my daw, but its a hassle on my workflow.

Does anyone have any tips? thanks very much.

Best to record the sample with the effect applied within the DAW and sample it back into the MPC when you play it back. No need to disconnect anything either. Just sample the sample from the DAW.
