when you order things or get something you really want things never go smoothly...

I ordered my MPC1000 on Sunday, and it was delivered this morning.... WITH A 2-PIN POWER SUPPLY!! (we use 3-pin in the uk).

So, so annoying. Still, I'm going to get it replaced in a minute.

yeah, i had the same worry when i got mine with a 2 pin plug, even though i 99% knew a standard 'kettle lead' plug would work - i was still squitting myself when i first plugged it in and turned it on...

Most electrical things like that have their power supplies permanently attached though - so i couldn't do that.

its sorted now though - i spent my whole afternoon and night on the machine.
