Hi there,
To give you a bit of background, I had a MPC2000xl for a few years and recently bought a 1000 after my 2000xl broke. I have 3 problems that are giving me a massive headache.
1.When I needed to find the tempo of a sample on the 2000xl I just went into the trim section and used the bpm match and it worked everytime. On the 1000 I go into trim, into the timestretch section and press 'tempo' but it never seems to find the correct tempo of the sample. The tempo it finds is always too fast and I end up having to do it manually.
2. My sequences from my 2000xl do not play on the 1000. The MPC 1000 detects them as midi files, which seem to load ok but they do not play. You can see all the tracks in the track mute section as used but none of them work. The programs however load fine.
3. Lastly something I have found recently is that i spent ages getting something together and I purged the unused samples. When i went back to my track it didn't play as mentioned above. The tracks again were listed in the track mute as used.
Any help you can give me on the above would be very much appreciated, I've got a lot of beats to make and finish (which i started on my 2000xl) but so far can't seem to get anywhere.
