weird bpm issue

when playing a sequnce and **** around with the note repeat (ie.1/8, 1/8(3), 1/16...etc) to get some drum rolls it **** off and then the bpm shoots up to 300bpm. The sequnce is still playing but the bpm is at 300 (max).

something I am doing wrong?

anyone else have the same problem?

The note repeat button is the same button as the tap-tempo button. What you're doing (as far as the MPC is concerned) is tapping in a new tempo.

You can set the number of taps required to set the tempo in the OTHER/MISC screen. Setting it higher (to 4) will most likely fix your problem.
