each time i load a folder of samples to create a program. The MPC takes the samples out of my nicely arranged folders and copies them in the root of the memory card too!

When i load samples and save them, i save the entire memory, i still dont see why it should do this. The MPC should be able to read the files from their original folder

Also, if i load an entire folder of samples, i create a program using only 4. How do i only save those 4 sample and discard the rest i used.

As you can tell i basically i need to be more efficient with loading and saving!

The MPC should save the files in whatever folder/directory you specify when saving your project (entire memory).

Regarding your other question, you can do this using the "purge" function, you should be able to find it in the manual of your mpc.

Peace.
