Hi, I've had some problems with time when I overdub a sequence. What happen is, I overdub, let's say a bass, I count the bar/beats and press the pad, so the bass is in time, its done. I press stop and play start and its out of time. There is a problem in the settings, right? I don't know what I have to do, if anyone can advise me would be great. Thanks.

hi , check the "timing correct" window ("T.C") and set default values
Start note value with 1/8
strenght should be 100%
shift timing at 0
swing at 50%

If you feel you miss notes when playing back your bass then the note value should be turned to 1/16...

Hi, thank you for your advise. I've tried what you suggest me, sorry but I don't understand what you mean strength 100% and shift timing 0. What happens is, I record a beat with two bars and place the beat in time, count the bars/beats sound good, but when I finish and playback is out of time or sometimes I record some out of time wrong and when I playback is in time, seriously, I don't understand. Actually I still use the Akai jj0s, do you think there is something related with that?

...sure you don't get lost in overdubbing and just did'nt start on an absolute one...

if so, and you start playback with the play button, not the play start button, it's easy to wonder where hits ended up.....

Man , first of all check your T.C window. It's in the main page of your jjos and it's the first thing to check before doing anything.
And make sure you read the manual from start to finish....

Strenght is how precise your sounds will be quantized once you recorded them and shift timing is used if you want your sounds to be quantized a little bit before or a little bit after you played them....
