how do I get rid of the programs and samples that come with

I deleted them and the autoload folder off of the cf card and I installed the expansion memory. Everything was fine for a day but now these garbage samples and programs and sequences keep coming on when I startup. let me know

There are two Autoload possibilities, one for the card, one for the internal memory, different methods to turn them off. Take a look at: http://stereoroid.com/sounds/mpc1000/faq.php#gen06

You need to go to mode and edit or trim and then delete each individual sample and then mode program when your on the program name hit window then delete each program.

um.... the question was about Autoload. You've described how to delete Programs and Samples, but it's easier to stop the unwanted stuff loading up in the first place!
